Pin-ups (Back Cover)

After Aladdin Sane, and the Ziggy Stardust Tour, Bowie recorded Pin-Ups, wherein he covered songs by some of his favorite British acts that he felt hadn’t gotten their due in the States. The album cover features a striking two-shot portrait of Bowie and model Twiggy both in face paint. He had planned on releasing a sister album entitled Bowie-ing Out made up of American covers, but it never came to be.

The image that inspired this minilander appeared on the back cover of the album, and was used again for the cover of the “Rebel, Rebel” single.
